  • STEM Week at Stanton St Quintin!

    Published 17/03/25

A couple of weeks ago was STEM week at Stanton St Quintin and what a fun week it was! We worked across three afternoons taking part in different activities which involved us making air fresheners, exploring gloop, making a colour rainbow, creating a structure to make square bubbles and using sticks and jelly tots to make geodomic structures! We used skills such as predicting, investigating, experimenting and exploring along the way and our wonderful breadth of scientific vocabulary could be heard as we asked questions and explained our thoughts and findings. We also particularly enjoyed working in groups with friends from other classes where we impressed the adults with our team work, sharing and co-operation. Well done team Stanton!

  • End of Church Service

    Published 17/07/24

This week we came together for our end of term church service. It was a wonderful celebration as the children reflected on all they have achieved this year. We enjoyed an array of musical performances, including a performance on the ukulele by Amazon class, beautiful recorder pieces and a special song by the choir. To mark the end of their primary school journey, Year 6 were presented with a Youth Bible to help them as they take their next steps. Thank you to The Gauzebrook Group of Churches for their generosity.
