It was so good to see everyone back at school today, looking recharged and ready for a new year's learning.
Children from Craft and Opportunties won first prize in the Great Somerford Summer Fete. The children create a collage that celebrated the Queen's 90 Birthday celebrations. The judges particularly comments on the use of buttons that depicted the Queen's head.
Football and netball players from Key Stage 2 took part in the Small Schools Tournament last weekend. Even though it was a bit chilly when the sun went behind the clouds we all had a fantastic morning. We were very proud of the the way the players played - showing determination, flexibility and support for each other.
Thank you to Mrs Weston, Mr Moles and Mr Seddon for giving up their morning and running the teams, and of course to all the families who came to us on.

The Dfe have just published an information document for parents regarding end of Key Stage Assessments for Year 2 and Year 6 Parents.
This morning the school all took part in assualt style activities to raise money for Sports Relief
